About the product

PoachMe lets software developers get paid for the time they spend chatting with recruiters. The recruiting industry has evolved to a point that is very beneficial for recruiters to spam a large number of developers because just placing a few candidates yields a big return for them. The problem, developers end up wasting hours of their professional time in calls that waste their time and often the recruiters is not really familiar with the position or developers skills. There is no incentive for recruiters to change this behavior it's free for them to do this, the ones paying the price are the developers. PoachMe provides developers with a set of tools to start reclaiming their time at no cost to them. Developers get a personalized calendar where recruiters can schedule a call with them and pay for that time. PoachMe also includes a career snapshot to allow developers to graphically showcase their career and a virtual business cards to reduce networking time. PoachMe is created by developers for developer who aim to create a more balance playing field with a win-win outcome and change the current status quo of win-lose.

It is an app blocker that never locks you out. Rules block distracting apps outright, cap them with a daily budget, or end each sitting as a session, and they run by schedule, by place, or in a window of the week, enforced through Apple Screen Time so they hold with the app closed and offline. Getting back into a blocked app always works, but it costs fifteen minutes and ends the clean streak you have built.
