About the product
MentionScout is an AI visibility tracker. It runs your real buyer prompts through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Google AI Overviews on a schedule and reports exactly how each engine talks about your product. What it does: - Tracks whether AI engines mention and recommend your product - Shows which sources each AI cited to build its answer - Benchmarks your visibility against named competitors - Turns findings into a prioritized list of fixes - Listens to Reddit, Hacker News, and Bluesky for the conversations feeding the models - Charts how your AI presence moves over time Knowing which pages get cited tells you where to earn a mention so you appear more often in AI answers. Built for founders, indie hackers, and marketers who need to know whether AI tools recommend them. Free plan available; paid plans add more checks and premium engines.

For product owners
Promote MentionScout
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps MentionScout in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: MentionScout gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to MentionScout from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
