About the product
Bossanova by TINYGEM is a proprietary encrypted local vault for Windows and macOS. It stores text, images and imported .env items on the user's device. Keep an API credential in a named vault field while a supported coding assistant requests a task.
Its optional app-approved MCP bridge supports Claude Code and Codex CLI. Connection permission, field access and operation approval are separate controls. Selected private fields can be used in approved HTTPS requests or program tasks; default tool responses do not return raw private values. The receiving API or program can receive them. This is not an OS sandbox.
An account and periodic online licence checks are required. The vault does not provide automatic cloud sync or team RBAC.
Free is permanent: 10 fields and 1 active vault device. Plus: 100 fields and 2 devices for USD 2.99 billed monthly. Pro: unlimited fields and 5 devices for USD 5.99 billed monthly. Optional annual plans are USD 23.88 for Plus or USD 47.88 for Pro, paid up front annually; those totals are not monthly charges.

For product owners
Promote Bossanova
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Bossanova in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: Bossanova gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to Bossanova from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
